We are looking for Operational Planner to join the Logistics department on a fixed term contract until March 2027. This role requires someone with good customer service skills, who is organised in order to effectively plan and schedule day to day emergency repairs.
Contract Type: Temporary (until 31 March 2027), subject to funding approval.

Funding for this role has been secured until 31 March 2026. While there is an acknowledged need for the role to continue beyond this date, continuation into the following year will be subject to our formal budget approval process.

Duties Include
- Plan and schedule day to day and emergency repairs using Dynamic Repairs Scheduler and our Repairs System
- Forecast and manage diaries of our trade colleagues and liaise with customers to update them
- Organise work and replan appointments where necessary, sometimes at short notice due to absence
- Identify and resolve any issues in normal operations and manage schedule disruption
- Update systems to ensure continuity of communication
- Speak with customers to resolve any outstanding issues and organise appointments
Requirements
- Previous operational planning experience would be advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures
- Excellent IT skills in order to operate multiple systems
- The ability to multi task and work under pressure
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience of working in a highly demanding, pressurised environment
A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
