Operational Risk Analyst

We're hiring: Operational Risk Analyst | Financial Services | London or Midlands

3 days per week in the office

Are you looking to grow your career in operational risk within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment? We're looking for an Operational Risk Analyst to join our second line Risk team and help strengthen the organisation’s risk management framework.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of experience in financial services and a passion for risk, data, and continuous improvement.

🔍 What you'll be doing:

• Supporting operational risk processes including incident management, RCSAs, risk metrics, and reporting

• Analysing risk events, losses, and supporting Basel 3.1 data readiness

• Delivering insights for internal risk committees and contributing to regulatory reporting

• Coordinating risk policy reviews, culture initiatives, and training programmes

• Helping enhance risk systems and tools

🎯 What we're looking for:

• A curious, analytical mindset with strong communication skills

• Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and data handling

• Experience in risk or a related area (or a strong desire to grow into it)

• Interest in professional risk qualifications (support provided)
