Operational Risk Oversight Specialist- 6 Month FTC

I am looking for Operational Risk Oversight Specialists to help drive the implementation and embedding of a robust operational risk framework within a growing bank on a 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract.

In this influential role, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to business units and functional leaders, ensuring operational risks are effectively identified, managed, and reported. Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior stakeholders across business units to implement operational risk best practices and promote a culture of accountability and ownership
• Provide second-line assurance to the Board and leadership teams, assessing key risks and the effectiveness of first-line risk management
• Oversee risk elements of strategic and change projects, ensuring appropriate documentation and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor and track material risk events, ensuring data quality and timely resolution
• Review and challenge Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), identifying inconsistencies and working with the business to address issues
