Who We Are.
We are a global marine geoscience and technology business. We are pioneers using ground-breaking technology to study what lies beneath the ocean floor. We help energy companies plan ahead, accelerating responsible use of the planet’s resources. We provide marine seismic data, imaging products and data processing software. Our teams offer unparalleled acquisition capability to our clients, providing them with the tools they need to reduce exploration risks and maximise their production efficiency.
Could you build security into everything we do?
We’re looking for a proactive and well-organised Operational Security Manager to join our growing Information Security team in Oslo, Bergen or Gatwick.
This role is central to ensuring our security operations are consistent, timely, and well communicated across the business.
Support for ISO 27001:2022 certification and maintenance is key as you drive ongoing security awareness across the organisation.
You’ll act as the first point of contact for internal security queries, support vulnerability remediation, and coordinate with the SOC on alerts and incidents.
From managing policy exceptions to tracking risk treatment actions, you’ll help keep our security programme practical, visible, and on track.
Technically speaking…
You’ve spent around 3 to 5 years working in security operations, IT, or a related area, and are comfortable handling day-to-day tasks like tracking incidents, coordinating patching or remediation work, and responding to awareness queries.
You’re familiar with frameworks like ISO 27001 or CIS Controls and understand how risk registers, audit evidence, and control tracking fit together in practice.
Experience with access reviews, SOC engagement, or coordinating awareness campaigns is a plus, as are certifications like Security+ or SSCP.
In personal terms…
You’re structured, practical, and quick to follow up, you’re comfortable handling a variety of tasks, keeping track of deadlines, and knowing when to escalate or ask for input.
You work well with people from different departments, translating between technical and business language when needed.
You enjoy working collaboratively and are happy to support or mentor junior team members when needed, helping build capability across the team.
If you like getting things done, supporting continuous improvement, and being part of a small team with visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
