Operational Technology Security Manager

We’re expanding our Cyber Security team and looking for a Cyber Security Manager specialising in Operational Technology (OT). This role focuses on protecting the systems behind our physical operations, think manufacturing automation, refrigeration, HVAC, and store systems. You’ll lead cyber initiatives to keep our infrastructure secure, resilient, and running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the security of our OT environments across the Morrisons Group
• Managing threats and vulnerabilities specific to physical infrastructure and critical systems
• Working closely with engineering teams, partners, and suppliers
• Supporting incident response and security audits for OT systems
• Reporting progress, performance, and risks to the wider security team

• OT systems are secure and resilient
• Stakeholders and suppliers work closely with you to resolve risks
• Security initiatives support the wider business strategy

About you

You’re an experienced cyber professional with knowledge of OT environments. You understand the technical and operational challenges that come with securing critical infrastructure and you know how to work across teams to get results.

You’ll also have:

• Experience working with or securing OT environments (e.g. manufacturing, retail tech, utilities)
• A strong understanding of network security, asset control, and risk in physical systems
• Great communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Confidence managing partners and driving improvement in supplier performance
• A flexible, practical approach with an eye on the bigger picture
