The successful Operations Analyst will gain experience working with equities, bonds, FX and listed options. There will be opportunity to get involved in the whole life cycle in the operational running of the funds, as well as project work to develop an improve processes.
The candidate should be hands on and willing to provide wider administrative support to the team wherever necessary. They should enjoy problem solving and show high attention to detail.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist in all operational aspects of the firm’s fund platform across fund types and investment vehicles (UCITS, Cayman and managed account). Tasks include:
- Trade, Position and Cash Reconciliations
- Control of trades settlement, corporate actions, other transactions
- Communication with banks, custodies, prime-brokers etc., regarding all operational issues
- Help maintain integrity of data in the system and resolve breaks
- Reconcile monthly and weekly administrator NAV valuations
- Track funds budget and accruals, track invoice payments
- Run daily compliance checks in the system
- Preparing internal reports for company management and clients
- Work to streamline, improve and automate processes where possible
- Participation in setup and implementation of back-office software and ad hoc projects
- Other duties applicable to the position of Operations Analyst in respect of the Company

- Be team orientated and able to develop effective working relationships
- Good analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Good time management skills, able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Good IT skills, with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Take initiative and be a self-starter, be willing to get on with work independently
Desired Skillset
- Numerical or Economics Degree preferred
- Strong excel skills (VBA Experience)
- Python coding skills
- Experience with Portfolio Management Software beneficial
- Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in Financial Operations
- Fund Accounting exposure
- Reconciliations experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
