Operations Chef - North East - The Botanist

Field-based across Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sunderland, York, Leeds, Barnsley & West Bridgford

Salary Up To £55k Depending On Experience

We're looking for a talented Operations Chef to join our award-winning team at The Botanist, supporting multiple kitchens across the North East and helping drive food excellence, chef development, and operational standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with multi-site chef leadership experience or a highly experienced Head Chef ready to take the next step in their career.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and inspire your team of Head Chefs
• Drive food quality and standards across your region.
• Communicate regularly with the General Manager and Operations Manager on site performance
• Manage and coach Head Chefs based on monthly KPI results
• Ensure site profitability and adherence to health and safety standards
• Encourage career development for kitchen teams from KP to Sous Chef
• Oversee implementation of best training practices
• Establish and maintain a talent pipeline and succession plan
• Maintain an upbeat and positive team culture
• Undertake Head Chef responsibilities as needed
  
  

You will need to live within commuting distance of your region or be willing to relocate.
