We are looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer for our Dundee hub. The role is hybrid requiring 2-3 days a week in the office.

We are looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer for our Dundee hub. The role is hybrid requiring 2-3 days a week in the office.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with the operations and engineering teams to streamline and optimize application deployments.
- Design and develop automation and orchestration solutions that enable scalable, efficient infrastructure management.
- Contribute to the delivery of new service offerings, partnering with development teams to ensure the deployment of low-latency, high-performance applications.
- Architect and implement robust failover and disaster recovery strategies to support business continuity.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide escalation support and ensure service availability.
- Proficiency in scripting and systems-level programming to support automation and tooling initiatives.
- A strong commitment to continuous learning and mastering emerging tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Kustomize, and Jenkins (Groovy).
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a focus on secure cloud architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
- A sound understanding of fundamental programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing relational databases.
