We’re a profitable video game start-up in London with 10 million monthly players, and we’re hiring an operations manager to join our 8-person founding team.

The job

We’re looking for an operations manager to help support our growing team in building a great office culture; taking ownership of vital operations such as recruitment, book-keeping and on-boarding new team members.


You’ll work directly with our founder and product lead on a diverse range of tasks to support the needs of a growing startup. You’ll get exposure to all aspects of running the business by contributing to hiring, book-keeping, finances and office management.


This is a great opportunity for an aspiring future ops director excited about the opportunity to play a key role in the early stages of growth - and have lots of fun along the way!


About you

  • Exceptionally organised and independently proactive.
  • Warm, friendly, and confident communicator.
  • Someone who enjoys taking new problems and making them routine.
  • Excited by the energy of startups and learning on the job.
  • Prior recruiting or operations experience in a growing start-up.
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Xero, Ashby.


Within your first month:

  • Get to know our team and how we operate day to day.
  • Assist with screening, scheduling, and coordination for interviews and onboarding.
  • Take current book-keeping, invoicing, and expense processes and make them your own.
  • Explore opportunities and pitch new ideas


Within the first 3 months:

  • Help manage recruiting pipelines and build smooth hiring processes.
  • Begin managing basic legal and financial admin with our external partners.
  • Start planning ahead for office upgrades or a potential relocation.
  • Build playbooks for recurring operations and culture workflows.
  • Take charge of company social events and team-building initiatives.


Compensation:

  • Base salary of £40,000 to £50,000, based on experience
  • Stock options in a profitable early stage start-up

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
