As our Operations Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end operational performance, leadership, and continuous improvement of our Hillcrest site in Belton, Leicestershire.
Reporting to the Operations Director – EMEA, you’ll play a critical role in delivering site-level operational objectives that align with regional and global goals, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
A key part of the role involves driving innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring the site delivers high-quality outputs, welfare standards, meets customer requirements, and contributes to the company’s commercial and financial success.
About You
You’re an inspirational, hands-on leader, who can effectively manage cross-functional teams (including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and support services), foster collaboration across departments, and drive a culture of high performance and accountability.
You possess strong business acumen, a deep understanding of operational processes, and the ability to translate strategic direction into day-to-day execution. You’re experienced in managing budgets, driving cost efficiency, and understanding operational financial drivers.
With a background in manufacturing, agricultural, pharmaceutical, breeding or similar operations; you’re able to understand the technical and scientific nature of the many operational teams across your site.
