We are assisting with the recruitment of an Operations Manager on behalf of one of our clients a small, dynamic and successful fast-growing e-commerce fashion brand, with operations and manufacturing in London and Leicester.

Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager based in West London you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations. You will oversee logistics, supply chain management, customer service processes, and team coordination alongside our Leicester team, while continuously optimising workflows to meet our ambitious growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help to set up the systems, processes and procedures necessary for growth and efficiency
- Analyse current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Align operations with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a small London team, including logistics, manufacturers, and supply chain personnel.
- Coordinate with the Leicester team (including regular travel to Leicester) to ensure clear communication to align operational priorities and timelines.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture and identify if training and development opportunities are needed for team members.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
- Oversee inventory management and demand forecasting.
- Coordinate logistics for photoshoots, including booking studios, managing schedules, and securing necessary permits or equipment.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure all operational elements of photoshoots run smoothly.
- Oversee delivery timelines for campaign assets to ensure alignment with product launches.
- Manage budgets and monitor operational expenses.
- Identify cost saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management/directors.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a dynamic start-up culture
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the fashion or e-commerce industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management and logistics.
- Experience managing logistics and execution for photoshoots or creative campaigns is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, especially in coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, tools, and processes.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and analytics.
- Degree or appropriate qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills
Additional Information
- This role will be mainly based in the West London office and will also require at least one day a week in Leicester. There is the potential for hybrid working to be discussed
