The DXC Operations Specialist/Warehouse Modern Apprentice is designed for talented, passionate people who are looking to join an agile world leader and are ready to deliver the best solutions to transform businesses in the new digital world.
Our Successful Apprentices will work from our Erskine office 5 days per week. You must also be eligible to obtain a certain level of Security Clearance and as we work on Secure Defence Accounts, Dual Nationals or Visa Sponsorships are not accepted on our Apprentice Programme.
The Apprentice Programme is 80% on the job and 20% training with your provider.

Technical Apprentice:
The Role
We are looking for outstanding individual who can time manage and prioritise workload to reach our targets and exceed customer expectations throughout the entire operation. You will be responsible for taking ownership of activities to ensure safe, high- quality production and output.
Preferred applicants are hard-working, focused, and have outstanding problem-solving and customer skills. Compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures is always necessary. You will need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner.
The role involves liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to support the entire operation, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Responsibilities include the procurement of all goods and services required for MSBD, building and maintaining supplier relationships, and conducting comparisons of supplier quotations to ensure value and efficiency.
The role also requires adherence to inventory control procedures, updating stock records, and managing inventory needs. Within the warehouse, the individual will ensure deliveries are accurately booked in and will manage pick, pack, and despatch functions across all accounts.
Additional duties include handling customer requests through the Ticket Management System, ensuring service level agreements are met or exceeded, and repairing or preparing mobile, laptop, and printer devices to meet quality standards. This includes loading customised imagery and software onto devices. Compliance with all health and safety regulations is essential across all aspects of the operation.
