Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optical Assistant at Selfridges, London Area, United Kingdom. The Optical Assistant will be responsible for assisting customers with eyewear selection, providing exceptional customer service, supporting optometrists during eye examinations, managing appointments, and handling administrative tasks. Maintaining store cleanliness, updating displays, and ensuring stock levels are also part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
• Customer Service experience and a focus on Customer Satisfaction
• Basic knowledge of Optometry
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in the optical industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in optics is advantageous
