Oracle BI Developer

This role is a ‘hands-on' OBIEE/OBIA/OACS developer and requires working with others to specify, design and implement the reporting technical and dashboard/report requirements for the Hera Service, this involves developing, validating and reviewing conceptual, logical and physical report designs.
This is a technical role and requires a level of experience to ensure you begin to add value from the start. It is expected that you would have 3+ years in a B.I. or data integration development environment.
The Oracle BI Developer will be responsible for:
- Oracle BI Tools - OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) including report development
- Oracle Database technologies - data warehouse development including dimensional modelling
- Hyperion Essbase / EPM/ PBCS/ knowledge
- Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) – including application servers
- Knowledge in one of the following data structures and basic knowledge of the other
- e-business suite/fusion HR/HCM
- e-business suite/fusion ERP
- Requirements analysis
- Metadata modelling
- ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) technologies
- Exposure to ETL toolset and ETL performance tuning
- Execute data flows by using Oracle Database Cloud
- Data Visualization
- Explore and replicate data
- Create scalable data flows including ingestion, transformation, and persistence
- Create connections and data sources for drill-through, data loads and dimension builds
- Collect collaborative data, create scenarios, and perform what-if analysis using Smart View
- Build data models, reports, and analytic dashboards in an enterprise business intelligence environment
- Design and publish pixel-perfect reports from the enterprise data
- Maintain live and optimized connectivity to on-premises data warehouses
- Good ODI skills, both in terms of the basics, but also being able to write knowledge modules, integrate with OBIEE, deployment and migration
- Solid database skills - partitioning, materialized views, index types and Oracle PL/SQL - to support BI development
- Good communication and documentation skills, the ability to get on well with team members
