About You:
This role will design creative learning solutions, develop and upskill our teams within Next and any of our impacted partners/suppliers to use our Finance platforms efficiently and effectively.
Providing an accessible and personalised service to the Finance Team to ensure that our Finance systems are fully utilised and the correct processes and procedures are followed.
This role will also deliver our Oracle Finance training programme covering topics such as Chart of Accounts, General Ledger Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Purpose
This position is responsible for developing creative learning solutions and enhancing the skills of internal teams at Next, as well as external partners and suppliers, in the efficient and effective utilization of our Finance platforms. The role ensures comprehensive understanding and correct adherence to processes and procedures within the Finance systems, and will also deliver the Oracle Finance training program, encompassing areas such as Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Learning Design & Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain digital learning solutions including e-learning modules, video content, and print resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create accurate and relevant course content.
- Conduct thorough learning needs analyses across all Finance areas to identify core training requirements.
- Evaluate training effectiveness against learning objectives and propose improvements.
- Ensure digital learning materials are current and meet the needs of the business, suppliers, or TEP clients.
- Manage online learning communities and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) Management:
- Develop and design in-application guidance using Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), providing just-in-time learning through flows, help icons, and pop-ups.
- Rigorously test and deploy features in accordance with change management processes.
- Troubleshoot issues by collaborating with external stakeholders.
- Monitor usage weekly and suggest enhancements to improve user experience.
- Maintain features in alignment with system updates and user feedback.
Training Delivery:
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions to Next and TEP colleagues and managers, facilitating full utilization of Finance Systems.
- Administer the Finance training program to Finance colleagues, covering Oracle ERP and EPM systems.
- Adjust instructional style to meet diverse audience needs and ensure individual learning objectives are achieved.
- Conduct learning needs analyses for all Finance system areas to pinpoint specific learning requirements.
- Maintain training materials to reflect the latest information and business, supplier, or TEP client needs.
- Identify situations where training is not the optimal solution and recommend alternative interventions.
- Provide high-quality customer service, offering support and guidance to teams.
- Evaluate training outcomes to confirm that learning objectives have been met.
Communication Management:
- Assist in managing internal communications by developing and executing effective campaigns.
- Ensure consistency in tone of voice, branding, and messaging across all Next and TEP client communications.
- Collaborate effectively with the internal communications team.
Project Management:
- Engage with various stakeholders within Next, suppliers, and TEP to ensure services meet business area requirements.
- Proactively challenge existing processes, advocating for user-centric improvements and providing constructive feedback.
- Lead projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with other Finance Transformation team members to deliver a holistic service that incorporates a blended learning approach (e.g., 70:20:10 model).
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance for training activities, including resource organization and venue booking.
- Independently manage travel and accommodation bookings in adherence to company policy.

- Proficient knowledge of Oracle Fusion and proven experience in Oracle ERP implementations.

Essential
- Demonstrated experience in designing learning interventions using tools such as Articulate E-learning and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign).
- Project management experience.
- Expertise in designing, delivering, and facilitating learning interventions.
- Experienced user of GSuite (Gmail, Slides, Docs, Meets, Chat).
- Willingness to travel frequently to Next Head Office, Distribution Centres, Stores, and TEP clients.
Desirable
- Prior experience with a digital adoption platform, such as Oracle Guided Learning.
- Familiarity with a Learning Management System.
