PA to Executive Director

Location: Kendal SLH, Kendal but work areas are Barrow, Penrith and hybrid working

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are excited to be recruiting for an exceptional individual to be the PA to Director of Thriving Communities

Our ideal candidate will be:

• An organised individual with strong administrative skills who can work in a fast paced environment.
• Someone who can demonstrate strong experience with diary management.
• Someone who can manage their own workload well to ensure deadlines are met and provide excellent customer service.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have the ability to be speedy and accurate whilst remaining calm under pressure
• Has line management experience

Essential/Desirable experience

• Previous PA experience supporting a Director/Assistant Director (essential)
• Previous local government experience (desirable)
• Previous experience of supporting a Section 151 Officer role or other statutory position within a local government setting (desirable)
• Previous experience of working in a value adding service (desirable)
• Political awareness
