Package Manager – Signalling, Telecom and Power on the
Beckton Depot Southern Extension (BDSE), and take on complex, meaningful work that makes a real impact—both for our business and the wider world!
What you'll be doing
Core Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the signalling, telecoms, LV (signalling power alterations and points heating), ETE and HV Substation works for the Beckton Depot Southern Extension (BDSE) project.
- Coordinating with supply chain partners to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of the package in line with project objectives, quality standards, safety requirements, and programme constraints.
- Review of the BDSE designs from constructability perspective and cost effectiveness.
- Lead and inspire the team by managing performance, monitoring competencies, and providing appropriate training and coaching to support development.
- Undertake technical liaison with clients and sub-contractors on scope and technical issues.
Who we're looking for
The Following Skills And Experience Are Required
- Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and influencing skills
- Solution orientated approach to issue resolution
- Able to produce and review a fully resourced stage programme in the accepted format / software
- Able to measure and track KPIs for enhanced productivity
- Strong knowledge and management of construction process associated with working in an civils/rail environment for signalling and telecoms and power ETE/Substation etc. at least in one discipline.
- Awareness of procurement practice
- Experienced at producing detailed records and correspondence for commercial recovery
- Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
