Are you passionate about regulatory compliance and ethical business practices? We’re looking for an in-house
Paralegal to join the Compliance team at YouGov on a
6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in compliance and corporate governance to grow their career in a collaborative, global environment.
You’ll support the business in meeting legal, policy, and ethical standards across multiple jurisdictions—working closely with Legal, HR, and other key stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week in the office. We support your work-life balance with a mix of in-office collaboration and home-based productivity.
Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, so you must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

- Conduct legal research and advise on and apply laws and regulations relevant to the business
- Support the preparation and updating of internal guidance documents and compliance toolkits
- Whistleblowing Programme Support:
- Help maintain the whistleblowing system, ensuring reports are logged, tracked, and escalated appropriately
- Support communications and awareness campaigns on “speak up” procedures and ensure records are accurately maintained
- Assist with preparing whistleblowing metrics and reports

- Support internal investigations, including organising interviews, collecting documentation, and drafting investigation summaries
- Maintain confidentiality while helping to ensure all compliance concerns are managed effectively and documented in accordance with internal protocols
- Assist with periodic compliance audits and help identify areas for improvement
- Reporting and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain detailed compliance records, including policies, approvals, risk registers, and training logs
- Assist in preparing internal reports and external submissions to regulators or auditors as needed
- Supplier Onboarding:
- Review and process new suppliers, including requesting further information and documentation from suppliers
- Liaising with the Legal and Finance team to drive the onboarding process through
- Training and Awareness:
- Support the development and delivery of compliance-related training and onboarding materials for staff
- Help maintain records of training completion and employee certifications
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a paralegal or compliance role
- Strong legal research and drafting skills

Behavioural competencies:
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
