We are looking for
Paralegals to join our market leading CSG team that works with over 40+ insurance companies and self-insured corporates across the UK.
You will be based at our
Newport office (South Wales) and successful applicants will be required to attend the office 5 days a week during probation.
Following successfully passing your probationary period, you will then be able to discuss a more hybrid approach with your manager, in line with business requirements.
Our next Assessment Centre will be held in early
2026 and successful candidates will be contacted prior to discuss their applications in further detail with our CSG Talent Attraction team.
Who's are our teams?
Vehicle Hire and Damage Team
Our Vehicle Hire and Damage team provides a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for defendant credit hire dispute resolution. We offer proactive advice to help clients anticipate issues and develop effective strategies.
The team handles a wide range of claims, from small track to multi-track, including fraudulent cases. Our expertise covers liability, indemnity, and associated losses such as personal injury, credit repair, and diminution.
Motor Injury Team
Our Motor Injury team represents insurers and corporates in investigating and resolving complex or high-value vehicular personal injury claims. We manage all stages of the process, including pre-litigation, MOJ, infant approvals, OIC, small track, and fast track matters.
With a progressive approach and a market-leading reputation, the team goes beyond litigation. We analyse behaviours and trends to deliver bespoke strategies that help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

What you will do?
You are expected to provide a timely, professional and high-quality service to our clients in the management of claims. Depending on your role, and with the support of a supervisor and team manager you will be expected to:
- Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre-litigated or litigated work.
- Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions.
- Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.
- Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
- Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other Court documents.
- Maintain contact with our clients and their customers whilst proactively managing their expectations.

- Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs).
- Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.
Who you are
We welcome applications from
graduates and individuals with
customer service or retail experience who are team-oriented and eager to learn.
We’re also keen to hear from
Paralegals or Legal Assistants with experience in a legal setting. Previous exposure to Litigation and/or insurance claims would be highly beneficial, however all training will be provided.
You will have;
- Prioritisation and Organisation Skills - the ability to structure your time well, prioritise work effectively and recognise when to ask for help.
- Interpersonal skills - communication skills to liaise with clients, intermediaries and colleagues on the phone and in person.
- Analytical skills - The ability to critically look at factual evidence, identify key legal arguments and apply the same.
- Commercial sense - The ability to know the principle or law but also know when is it worth pursuing it.
- Resilience - The ability to stand their ground in a telephone negotiation and to receive feedback.
- Commitment and enthusiasm - with a professional attitude.
