Description

An international law firm is looking to hire a Restructuring Paralegal to support a busy London restructuring practice. The role combines traditional paralegal support with exposure to market intelligence, knowledge management, and business development, making it well suited to someone interested in the commercial and strategic side of restructuring work.

You will work closely with senior lawyers on live matters while also helping the team stay ahead of market developments in distressed situations and special situations.

Responsibilities

Support restructuring matters from early stages through to completion
Track distressed and restructuring activity in the market and flag relevant developments to the team
Maintain internal trackers and materials relating to restructuring opportunities
Carry out legal and factual research and assist with document review and analysis
Monitor key restructuring cases and transactions, capturing deal structures and outcomes
Assist in preparing internal know-how, training content, and precedent materials
Support business development efforts, including pitches, thought leadership, and presentations
Manage documents and internal knowledge platforms to ensure information is accurate and accessible
Proofread and quality-check legal and commercial materials
