Our Parkinson’s practitioners can provide information, advice and specialist support for people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families and healthcare professionals involved in their care.
Provide high quality, comprehensive and timely assessments for people with Parkinson’s in order to support joint goal setting at all stages of Parkinson's including end of life care
Offer specialist advice, training, training and education to GPs, community teams, specialist services and education to GPs, community teams, specialist services and wider health and social care about Parkinson’s
Use specialist knowledge to refer to other professionals and for diagnostic tests
Provide psychological and emotional support to service user, families and carers in high stress situations and use counselling skills
Take responsibility as an independent non-medical prescriber to prescribe medicines from the relevant national formulary for individual patients receiving care for a condition for which the HCP has clinical responsibility.

Participate in shaping, developing, reviewing and improving the Parkinson’s service in Sirona
