Working for an established Family Office specialising in Private Equity investments, the successful individual will be detail-oriented, have relevant experience within a family office / private equity and available to work 2 days a week.

Description

The Part-Time Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of responsibilities including;

• Enter sales and purchase invoices, collate fortnightly payments run, and enter foreign currency bank account transactions into Sage.
• Keep track of and analyse drawdown and distribution notices.
• Analyse credit card spend.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly management accounts.
• Assist with maintaining the cashflow forecasting model using Excel.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
• Maintain quarterly bookkeeping records for other Group companies.
• Liaise with tax advisers and auditors at year-end.

Skills

The skills and experience required for this Part-Time Accountant role include but are not limited to:

• Previous experience working within a family office / private equity / investment fund.
• Strong academics and proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
