Part Time Training Assistant - Maternity Cover (Employed or Self Employed)

Mumby’s Live-in Care is looking for a Part Time Training Assistant (Maternity Cover) to join our dynamic and friendly team.

Mumby’s Live-in Care are a family run care business who have been operating for 23 years. We provide live in care across the South of England and are constantly recruiting to find the very best carers.

As a Training Assistant, you will be responsible to:

• Support the training manager to ensure that all systems within the training department are maintained at an outstanding level.
• Work with the training manager and actively plan to meet the required training deadlines for carers.
• Meet with carers in their placements (this includes some remote areas) and carry out competency checks, using a range of assessment methods followed by producing a robust report.
• Keep accurate records of completed as well as outstanding training and assessments in accordance with service’s criteria.
• Support the training manager to assign the online learning modules using Grey Matter Learning portal for new starters as well as refreshers for the existing carers.
• Conduct supervisions with carers as required.

Annual Salary: From £27.500 Pro Rata

2 days/week (Preferably Thursday/Friday, but open to discussion)

Requirements:

· Able to attend training courses for PDT

· NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or similar relevant qualifications

· IT literate

Skills:

• Organised, methodical, and with a good eye for detail
• Able to communicate efficiently
• Excellent presentation skills
• Driver and car owner
