An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior Contentious Probate Partner to join a Top 150 national law firm with an established disputes practice and significant plans for growth.

The firm is seeking an ambitious, experienced Solicitor with 15+ years’ PQE to take the lead on contentious probate matters and build a team around them as the practice expands nationally.

The Role:

Lead and develop the firm’s contentious probate offering
Handle complex, high‑value estate and trust disputes
Play a key role in strategic growth and business development
Recruit, mentor and manage junior solicitors as the team grows
Collaborate with partners across litigation and private client teams

About You:

15+ years’ PQE, operating at Partner, Senior Associate or senior equivalent level

Experience in contentious probate, or a strong background in general litigation/disputes with transferable expertise

Commercial, entrepreneurial and self‑motivated

Keen to build and shape a team within a national practice

Open to relocation or flexible working arrangements
