Harmonic Medical Sonography LTD are a leading independent provider of diagnostic scanning and screening services. Our clinics are conveniently located in various regions throughout the UK.


Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Patient Administrator role located in Manchester at Harmonic Medical Sonography. The Patient Administrator will be responsible for clinical list management, customer service, and supporting our Sonography Practitioners in providing efficient and timely patient care.


Responsibilities

  • To liaise with patients, referring clinicians and other stakeholders professionally by telephone, providing information and agreeing follow up actions where appropriate. 


  • Work within Company's procedures and KPI’s to answer calls and emails within agreed timeframes. 


  • To provide a high standard of patient service, ensuring that the patient is at the heart of everything we do. 


  • Use a professional and empathetic approach to communicating with patients and have a proactive attitude to resolving queries.


  • Maximise clinic utilisation by ensuring that patient’s appointments are booked according to the Company's Referral to Treatment times (RTT). 


  • Distribute patient satisfaction surveys and review patient feedback regularly.


  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles to ensure secure handling, storage and processing of patient information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients.
  • Knowledge of Patient Management Systems desirable.
  • Previous healthcare experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively with other team members.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Experience of working for healthcare or charitable organisation desirable 
  • Proactive problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
  • Time management and organisational skills 
  • High level of attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • Maths and English (GCSE) at grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Level 2 vocational qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Higher Learning degree an advantage.

  • £25,700pa

Hours of Work 

40 hours per week

08:00-20:00 Monday to Sunday
