At Linnaeus, we’re a forward-thinking partnership of respected Primary Care and Referral veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland. We bring together some of the best clinicians in the profession, united by a commitment to excellence and a shared passion: to make a better world for pets.

We provide a growing, collaborative community of veterinary professionals, spanning small animal, equine, and farm care. Everything we do is guided by our Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, and Freedom.

As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a 12 Month Fixed Term Pay Per Click Manager to lead and scale our paid media efforts across national and local campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact across 63 local clinics and 17 specialist referral hospitals, working with a passionate team committed to better care for pets and peace of mind for their owners.

About The Role

As Linnaeus continues to grow, our paid media efforts are becoming ever more crucial in reaching and supporting pet owners and referring veterinary professionals.

We are now looking for a results-focused, commercially minded PPC Manager to lead our Google Ads strategy and ensure cost-effective growth across our clinical and referral network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the overarching PPC strategy to support both local clinic growth and national referral awareness.
  • Plan, manage, and optimise campaigns across Google platforms including Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube.
  • Build and maintain a scalable PPC account structure across our network of clinics and hospitals.
  • Allocate and forecast media spend based on service demand, location needs, and seasonal trends.
  • Track campaign performance and deliver actionable insights through clear, regular reporting.
  • Continuously test and refine keywords, ad copy, targeting, and bid strategies to improve campaign efficiency.
  • Explore and introduce new PPC channels or tools as the digital landscape evolves.
  • Align PPC activity with wider digital efforts in SEO, CRM, content, and website optimisation.
  • Run targeted B2B campaigns to support vet-to-vet referral growth via specialist messaging.
  • Monitor key KPIs and ROI metrics, ensuring campaigns remain cost-effective and high-performing.

An experienced PPC marketer who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments. Whether you’re hands-on in ad platforms or guiding strategic direction, you’re comfortable working across multiple locations, services, and audience types.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Ability to create structured campaign reports and dashboards using platforms like Looker Studio or Excel.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative working style.
  • Capable of managing multiple campaigns across a multi-site business.

Desirable Experience & Knowledge

  • Background in the healthcare, veterinary, or service-led industry.
  • Experience managing PPC efforts in a multi-location setting or from an agency side.
  • Familiarity with paid social (e.g. Meta) or programmatic platforms.
