Job Description
The Finance Team at The Guinness Partnership play a critical role in the success of the organisation. With an overall aim of ensuring Guinness has a strong financial base from which we can be a high-performing organisation.
We have a new opportunity for a Payments Officer to join our Finance Team in Oldham on a full time 35 hours per week, 6-month fixed term contract basis.
We operate a hybrid working model with a 3-day office-based requirement and 2 days working from home.
Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure that internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support the delivery of key functions such as transaction processing, payment runs and managing payable ledgers.
What We Are Looking For
We are a customer-focused organization, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be experienced in accounts payables, but you will also have great attention to detail and be able to accurately maintain financial information.
You’ll Also Be Able To Demonstrate
- Proven customer service experience.
- A commitment to teamwork and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as this tool is used frequently in this role.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 2 (GCSE C+ or equivalent) Maths and English.
Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an online Excel assessment on the 18th August, if you pass this assessment, you will be invited to a face to face interview on Wednesday 20 th August at our Bower House, 1 Stable Street, Oldham, OL97LH office.
