Role Description
The Payroll Processor is a vital role within our Global Payroll Team supporting colleagues in 13 countries across the UK & EMEA regions. The Payroll Processor will be part of small, close-knit team responsible for entering data into the ADP Celergo software system and answering employee queries on and around payroll.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process and reconcile payrolls in multiple EMEA countries in a timely manner; coordinating additional payrolls as needed.
- Maintain payroll records and other benefit deductions.
- Processing and payment of non-standard wages: commissions, bonuses, expense reimbursements, relocation, leave, severance, final payments.
- Create reports using MS Excel.
- Support equity compensation vesting and exercise processing.
- Support audit process for both internal and external auditors.
- High level of integrity and maturity essential due to sensitive nature of the information.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend solutions to improve payroll processing function.
- Assist employees with payroll inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience processing UK payrolls
- An understanding of current UK legislation.
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude for learning and assisting in the continuous improvement of practices and processes
- Excellent computer skills including MS Excel
- Interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with the team and other employees
- Able to be a strong team player and work independently where necessary
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Attention to detail is essential in this role.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience using ADP Celergo.
- Experience with processing payrolls for EMEA countries.
- Experience with managing an outsourced payroll provider.
