About us
We are a specialist multi‑academy trust supporting pupils with SEMH and ASC needs across eight school sites, with a central finance team based at the Wendover Campus.
The role
We are seeking a detail‑driven Payroll & Finance Officer to support our Finance Managers across payroll, income, and sales ledger activities across the Trust.
The role is responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing, pension administration, expenses, and payroll journals, alongside management of Trust income, sales invoicing, and reconciliations.
You will act as the main point of contact for income‑related queries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
What we are looking for
This is a varied, autonomous role ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work confidently across multiple priorities in an education environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a close, collaborative team, communicates openly and is happy to support colleagues where needed, whilst also managing their own workload independently.
Hours/Flexibility
25–30 hours per week | 42–52 weeks per year (flexible, to be discussed at interview)
Option to work 1 day per week from home once fully trained
