Eames are currently partnering with a global financial institution looking to hire a Payroll Manager to join their payroll team, on a 12 month contract basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to lead a large-scale function and drive transformation in a business that services over 50,000 UK-based employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees, ensuring accurate calculation of tax, national insurance, and other statutory deductions.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide expert support to employees on all payroll-related queries, including pay calculations, overtime, bonuses, and commission structures.
- Ensure timely and compliant submission of statutory filings, including responding to queries from government bodies.
- Liaise with local tax authorities to manage payroll reporting, statutory obligations, and any regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in large-scale UK payroll, ideally in Financial Services
- Proven team leadership experience with ability to coach, develop and retain talent
