Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded Consultancy business as their Financial Operations (Payroll) Team Leader on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brand new role in a new team that has been created as a result of a recent business acquisition. Reporting directly into the Financial Operations Manager, you will be part of a high-performing and close-knit team of 3 in Finance Ops and you will be supported by a much larger wider finance team consisting of Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, Regional Accounting, Credit Control and Billing. You will be based in their super modern Central London office 1-2 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home for the remaining days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for monitoring operational and financial change requests review and approval, supporting the order to cash team with the processing of financial change requests, obtaining relevant client approvals from the sales team, streamlining and standardising the time entry and approval processes across various clients, performing monthly reconciliation of contractor pay and invoicing, monitoring the shared inbox and internal/external Audit support. You will have the opportunity to be involved in system enhancements, process improvements and other ad-hoc projects across the team/business.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a Payroll or Financial Operations role, ideally in a Professional Services environment. You will be a strong communicator with a professional and confident manner. You will be a team player with a fantastic work ethic and strong critical thinking. You will have excellent attention to detail and be a committed, driven, numerate and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment.
In Return
You will receive an annual salary of up to £45,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
