The Role:

We’re looking for a Payroll Delivery Team Leader to join our team and take ownership of the monthly salaried payroll process. You’ll coordinate and supervise a team of Payroll Coordinators, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. You’ll also act as a point of expertise for complex payroll issues and support both internal teams and external payroll providers.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of Payroll Coordinators, including recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of the monthly salaried payroll, monitoring input and controls

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years’ payroll experience, preferably with salaried monthly payroll
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• CIPP qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Experience managing teams and supervising staff
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, GDPR, and data privacy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and team support
