Benefits:
At Dementia UK, we support families living with dementia. Behind that work is a dedicated People Team, helping us to create a great place to work, and empowering our teams to make a difference.
We’re looking for a People Assistant (Recruitment) to join our team and play a key role in delivering a positive recruitment and onboarding experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being organised, working with people and keeping processes running smoothly in a busy environment.
In this role, you’ll provide end-to-end administrative support across recruitment and onboarding. You’ll be a point of contact for candidates, helping them feel informed and welcomed throughout their journey with us. From responding to queries and coordinating interviews, to preparing contracts and carrying out pre-employment checks, your work will help ensure new employees have the best possible start at Dementia UK.
You’ll work closely with the wider People Team and hiring managers, communicating effectively and building strong working relationships. You’ll also develop a good working knowledge of our People system, keeping records accurate and maintaining confidentiality.
We’re looking for someone with previous administration experience and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service. You’ll be confident working with Microsoft Office 365, and systems and data. Experience of recruitment or People administration would be helpful, but what matters most are your organisational skills, flexibility, willingness to learn and ability to work well as part of a team. In return, you’ll join an experienced and supportive team, with space to learn, grow and develop your career in the People function.
We would love to hear from you! If you would like to find out more about the role, or have any queries, please get in touch with recruitment@dementiauk.org
