We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our small People and Culture team on a fixed-term basis. Our new People Operations Administrator role is key to supporting the team during a busy project phase, acting as reliable support to ensure day-to-day administration and processing in the HR system is accurate, while also identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
You’ll play a central part in general HR admin tasks, from maintaining employee records to supporting GDPR data compliance. We’d also love to hear any ideas you may have about how we can improve process efficiency, and support employees and managers with greater self-serving.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across core operations and administration within a People and Culture team. You don’t need previous HR experience to apply, we’re looking for someone who enjoys organisation and efficiency, as well as working with confidential data entry and systems.
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract position, and part-time role operating across Monday-Thursday (30 hours per week). This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working with exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.
Key Responsibilities
- People Change and Benefits Processing: Handle monthly people changes, benefits admin, and approval tracking within our HR system (CIPHR).
- Freelancer Contracts: Co-ordinate approvals, contracts and IR35 compliance checks for freelancers.
- Onboarding: Onboard employees and freelancers into the HR system.
- HR Inbox Support: e.g. with reference requests, contractor queries, other ad hoc queries.
- Project Support: Collect data for freelancer projects; support the People and Culture team with the new HR system implementation, including queries and testing.
- Data Management: Co-ordinate GDPR data cleansing to ensure compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify ways to reduce administrative burden, streamline processes and enhance employee and manager self-service.
- PO Support: Support with PO processing within the team.
