Description

The People Services Team Lead will lead and support our People Services team in delivering high-quality People administrative services and employee support. Playing a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of core people processes, compliance with employment regulations, and continuous improvement of our People services and initiatives.

Responsible for the oversight and development of the HRIS, ensuring it is effectively maintained, enhanced, and fully integrated into the wider business systems and processes.

The People Services Team Leader will work collaboratively across departments to ensure the HRIS supports strategic goals, improves user experience, and drives data led decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Management of People Service Shared Inbox: Accountable for managing the People Services inbox, ensuring timely, accurate responses and maintaining a high standard of service delivery
  • Payroll Support: Provide oversight and support for payroll related processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of data, resolving queries, and collaborating with the Payroll & Data Advisor to maintain compliance and data integrity
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Services co-ordinators. Set team goals, monitor performance, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Service Delivery: Oversee day to day People operations including onboarding, off-boarding, contracts, data management, and general employee lifecycle administration. Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee information and documentation. Champion a customer-centric approach to People service delivery
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to the implementation of HRIS and automation projects. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery. Monitor and improve team workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to employment law, company policies, and data protection standards. Support audit requirements through accurate record-keeping and documentation. Generate People reports and support dashboard integrations to provide insights
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with People Business Partners, Talent, and Payroll to ensure seamless service delivery


Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR operations or shared services environment
  • Ideally but not mandatory experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices
  • Experience using HRIS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
