Are you ready to take the helm of strategic HR leadership in one of London's most dynamic boroughs? At Merton Council, we are looking for an exceptional individual to provide strategic leadership to the organisation, driving the people agenda and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services that support the Council's vision, values and priorities.
You will lead a team of HR professionals to deliver impactful business partnering, policy development, employee relations and data driven people insights. Working collaboratively, you will drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of the Council's People strategy.
You will have experience of working with high level stakeholders in a political or public sector environment.
With comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law, you will have expert knowledge of employee relations processes, including collective bargaining and dispute resolution. Significant experience in a senior HR role, you will have substantial experience of leading and managing HR teams with a proven track record of successfully implementing HR strategies that deliver organisational outcomes.
