Starting Salary: £64,211 with the opportunity to earn £69,626

Further salary progression available subject to performance in role

Bonus: Up to 15% base salary per annum based on achievement of Company targets and personal performance.

Working Pattern: Days (37 hours per week, typical hours are 07:30 – 15:40 or 08:10 – 16:20)

Sellafield Ltd is seeking a dynamic People Systems Analyst to spearhead the development and implementation of state-of-the-art HR technology solutions, shaping the future of our enterprise and digital strategies.

As the People Systems Analyst, you will be the technical design authority for our HR technology landscape, leading complex and transformational change projects. Your mission is to deliver best-of-breed technology solutions that optimize processes, enhance data integrity, and provide actionable insights, supporting a high-performing, data-driven workplace.

What will the successful candidate be doing:

Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Lead thought leadership on emerging HR technologies.
  • Continuously assess trends to inform our future technology roadmap.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to deliver fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR and technology teams.
  • Engage with external vendors and consultants to implement HR technology solutions.

System Analysis and Design:

  • Lead the functional analysis and architectural design of HR technology solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

Implementation and Support:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of new HR systems and enhancements.
  • Ensure robust and secure integration of HRIS with other business on-premise and SaaS applications.

Project Management:

  • Lead and deliver complex HR technology projects to within budget, time and quality constraints.
  • Manage schedules, resources, risks and stakeholder communication.
  • Regularly engage with the supply chain and identify system implementation partners.

Data Management and Analytics:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy across HR systems.
  • Develop advanced analytics and reporting capabilities for data-driven decision-making.

User Training and Support:

  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Provide technical support and resolve system-related issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Stay current with HR technology trends and recommend innovative solutions.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to HR systems usage.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Broad knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, core HR, payroll, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors or other Tier 1 applications (Workday, Oracle).
  • Experience with CRM and service management solutions such as ServiceNow or Pega.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with experience in tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and Power-BI.
  • Technical expertise in developing innovative solutions using enterprise-scale platforms like MS PowerSuite and AI
  • Experience in producing technical specifications and design documentation.
  • Proven track record in leading full lifecycle implementations of HRIS modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security risks and GDPR requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications, CIPD, APM, ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.

Please Remember:

During the interview, you will also be expected to give a 15 minute presentation on the

“art of the possible” in relation to the use of technology based on HRIS best practice.

Problem Statement:

Sellafield Ltd does not use its HRIS to maximise the employee experience or add value across the transactional shared service centre or the HR function. There are currently many manual handoff points between teams and departments with employees often getting frustrated as they are unable to easily access or request people services using digital platform(s).’

Deliverable:

Sellafield Ltd is embarking on a HR transformation programme to improve the employee and line manager experience. One of the key deliverables is the implementation of a new HR information system.
