The People Technology Analyst support the integration of People technology and analytics within our overall People strategies to help attract and retain a highly skilled workforce. The People Technology Analyst will participate in the design, management, compliance, and administration of our People technology ecosystem, including our core HRIS platforms, data analytics and insights, and automation initiatives.
What You'll Do
Data Storytelling & Strategic Insights
- Dive deep into People data from various sources to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights using your expert-level Excel skills, including complex formulas, dynamic Pivot Tables, data modelling, and Macros.
- Translate your findings into visually compelling, clear, and professional presentations using PowerPoint to help tell a story with data that influences our people strategy.
- Design, build, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports, leveraging tools like Excel and Power BI, to provide a real-time pulse on workforce analytics, KPIs, and organizational health.
HRIS & Systems Excellence
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned modules of our People technology platforms, providing functional and technical support.
- Continuously identify and recommend process improvements, leveraging new system functionalities and automation, including AI, to enhance efficiency and the user experience.
- Support system and process upgrades, testing, and validation, ensuring our technology is always performing optimally and meeting business needs.
Business Partnership & Collaboration
- Act as a technical and analytical partner to our People team, providing them with the data and insights they need to succeed.
- Support liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and successful project delivery.
Must-Haves
What You'll Bring
- Strong Excel Skills: You can effortlessly build complex models, write advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS), create dynamic Pivot Tables from scratch, and have experience writing or editing Macros to automate tasks.
- PowerPoint & Data Visualization: You are a master at turning data into a story. You have a proven ability to create highly polished, compelling, and professional slide decks that clearly communicate complex information to an executive audience.
- Analytical & Technical Acumen: 2-3+ years of experience in a role focused on HR/People technology and/or analytics. You have a knack for looking at a dataset and seeing the story, while also understanding the systems and processes that produce it.
- General HR Experience: 2+ years of experience working within a Human Resources function. You have a solid understanding of the core employee lifecycle and its supporting processes.
- Problem-Solving & Curious Mindset: A natural problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills. You are driven by a constant curiosity to find the 'why' and “how” behind data and systems; exploring new technologies to find better solutions.
- Technical Learning Agility: You learn fast. You have a proven ability to quickly get up to speed with new systems and tools to a practitioner level, enabling you to solve novel problems effectively.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Nice-to-Have Bonus Points
- Automation & AI Acumen: Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable. You’re excited by the potential of tools like Power Automate to streamline workflows, Power BI for advanced analytics, and Copilot Studio to unlock new AI-driven efficiencies for our team.
- HRIS Experience: Hands-on backend experience with a major HCM/HRIS platform. Direct experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Compliance Experience: Experience with compliance reporting and documentation for frameworks such as SOX, ISO Standards, and/or SOC2.
