We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to deliver commercial hard and soft landscaping projects worth up to £2 million. You’ll lead talented teams, keep projects running smoothly, build great client relationships, and take pride in work that leaves a lasting legacy.
What you’ll do:
👷♂️ Lead & Motivate – Manage and mentor site managers & Field Teams (3–20 people).
📊 Own the Numbers – Track project P&L, price works, and negotiate with suppliers.
🦺 Keep It Safe – Ensure full Health & Safety compliance and manage RAMS.
🏗 Deliver Excellence – Complete projects on time, to budget, and to the highest quality.
📅Plan & Organise – Allocate resources (plant, equipment, materials) effectively
🤝🤝 Build Relationships – Be the main point of contact for clients & identify growth opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
Essential:
🏗 3+ years’ construction project management experience (small to large commercial projects).
🌱 3+ years’ horticultural/landscaping experience (qualifications or site knowledge).
🎯 Proven record of delivering projects as Principal Contractor to completion.
🛠 Qualifications: Black/Gold CSCS NVQ, SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid, Pro-Qual Level 4, full driving licence.
💻 Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
📐 Familiarity with Union Square or Bluebeam.
🏅 NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
🚗 Flexibility to travel to varied project locations.
