Performance/ Growth Director
We are currently partnered with a rapidly scaling, mission-driven DTC subscription e-commerce business who are seeking a highly commercial and strategic Performance Director to lead their UK business. This senior role requires a leader with a proven track record in high-growth DTC or subscription businesses, who is ready to own and accelerate their entire subscriber acquisition engine. The Director will be accountable for setting and executing the end-to-end growth strategy, managing a multi-million-pound marketing budget and team of 8-10 direct reports, ensuring ambitious targets for acquisition and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) are consistently met. This involves rigorous forecasting, resource allocation, and maintaining strong commercial discipline to optimise spend efficiency and Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA).
Success in this role demands deep fluency in performance marketing, covering channels such as Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliates/ Influencers coupled with a data-first mentality. The Director will be responsible for building a culture of continuous testing and ensuring robust attribution models and incrementality experiments drive profitable scale. Furthermore, this leader must excel at cross-functional collaboration, serving as a key commercial partner to teams across Creative, CRM, Product and Data to ensure growth initiatives translate into a seamless customer experience and optimal business outcomes. They must also be an inspiring manager, responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team, while balancing the need for short-term performance with the long-term vision of building a resilient and beloved brand.
