Department: PMO – Strategic Insight & Performance Team - Reporting Team

Salary: Up to £38,000.00

We’re looking for a Performance & Reporting Analyst to join our Strategic Insight & Performance Team - Reporting Team within the PMO. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery and performance management of Southern Water’s capital programme.

You’ll work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders, helping turn raw data into meaningful insights through clear, accurate reporting. If you enjoy working with tools like Power BI, Excel, and Power Query, and want to contribute to large-scale infrastructure programmes, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

     

•      Building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI for performance reporting
  
  

     

•      Analysing data to track KPIs, spot trends, and highlight risks and opportunities
  
  

     

•      Supporting cost and schedule forecasting with delivery teams
  
  

     

•      Managing core datasets and ensuring data quality across key performance areas
  
  

     

•      Responding to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from across the business
  
  

     

•      Suggesting and implementing improvements to reporting tools and processes
  
  

What We’re Looking For

     

•      Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query)
  
  

     

•      Comfortable working with large datasets and data modelling
  
  

     

•      Solid understanding of project delivery lifecycles
  
  

     

•      Analytical, detail-focused, and able to explain data clearly
  
  

     

•      Able to manage competing priorities independently
  
  

It’s a Bonus If You Also Have

     

•      Experience using Primavera P6, P6 Analytics, or SAP
  
  

     

•      Understanding of regulatory reporting in utilities or infrastructure
  
  

     

•      Experience presenting insights using PowerPoint
