We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join the Perinatal Mental Health Team, covering pan CTM.
The post holder will have responsibility for working within the multi-disciplinary Perinatal Mental Health Team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing targeted and specific assessments and interventions within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
The post holder will have responsibility for implementing evidence based practice, monitoring and evaluating clinical interventions/practice and undertaking specialist Perinatal Mental Health Assessments referred to the service in line with the agreed protocols.
The post holder will participate in the provision of specialist service/interventions across the specialist service utilizing a recovery focused model in Primary and Secondary Care settings.
The post holder will facilitate an integrated Perinatal Assessment Clinic collaboratively with midwives and health visitors, based in antenatal clinics, working seamlessly across relevant disciplines to provide a robust early identification and preventative Perinatal intervention.
The postholder will be responsible for organizing daily workload , prioritizing workload of self and other team members to ensure coordination and service delivery.

This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
