Personal Assistant

We have a vacancy for a personal assistant to join supporting our head of reinsurance. If you have experience working in a personal assistant position within insurance, please apply, as we would love to hear from you

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide secretarial support to the Head of Reinsurance and wider responsibilities across the business unit
• Manage schedules by arranging and planning meetings, teleconferences, and travel
• Deal with all correspondence and enquiries, often of highly sensitive or confidential nature, either responding on behalf of individuals or filter as appropriate
• Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for meetings
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems
• Reconcile monthly expenses
• Take minutes in meetings as and when required
• Contribute to and manage projects
• Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of Miller, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls. Our policies and procedures are written to encapsulate the compliance, legal and financial crime related legislation and regulations which apply to Miller
• Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at Miller, such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA rules
• Promote Miller brand and values to enhance Miller’s reputation in the market
