Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Personal Trainer at our Uxbridge, ON location. The Personal Trainer will provide one-on-one and group fitness sessions to clients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. Responsibilities also include creating personalized workout plans, offering guidance on exercise techniques, monitoring progress, and providing motivation. The role requires maintaining a professional and encouraging environment to ensure a positive fitness journey for all members. Additional duties may include supporting gym operations and promoting member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal training, instructing group fitness classes, and developing individualized fitness plans
• In-depth knowledge of exercise physiology, fitness assessment, and injury prevention techniques
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
• Knowledge of fitness equipment operation and maintenance
• Certification in personal training (e.g., ACE, NASM, or equivalent), CPR, and First Aid certification is required
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and work as part of a team
• Experience in a gym or fitness-focused environment is an asset
