As a
Personal Wealth Adviser, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients as they navigate their financial futures. You’ll help them define their immediate and long-term goals and create tailored financial plans that provide confidence and clarity. At SPW, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver an exceptional service to our established client base as well as identify opportunities to welcome new clients. You’ll meet clients both face-to-face and virtually, taking the time to build a personalised financial plan that reflects their aspirations and adapts as their life evolves.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic financial advice to new and existing clients through face-to-face and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships, helping clients understand and achieve their immediate and ongoing financial goals.
- Use cash flow modelling and financial planning tools to complete comprehensive client meetings and provide clear, insightful advice.
- Use a range of business development strategies and expertise to proactively explore the market to onboard new clients. This will include establishing links with introducers both internal and external.
- Manage a designated portfolio of clients, identifying ongoing advice needs and deepening relationships.
- Develop intergenerational connections and explore referral opportunities within your client base.
- Stay informed on market trends, legislative changes, and industry developments to best support your clients.
- Uphold SPW’s values and Consumer Duty responsibilities, delivering great client outcomes.
- Maintain professional standards and complete continuous development to support your Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
Qualifications & Skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 / Chartered status desirable but not essential).
- Experience in holistic financial advice and building long-term client relationships.
- Extensive experience in conducting client meetings and creating tailored financial plans.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty responsibilities.
- Skilled in using cash flow modelling to support financial advice recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure clients receive an excellent service.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Great organisational skills to manage a large and diverse task list to ensure we deliver great client journeys.
