Job Purpose
The Pharmacy Homecare team provides a service that delivers ongoing medicine supplies and where necessary associated care initiated by the Hospital prescriber, direct to the patients home or nominated address, services are divided into Low Tech, Mid Tech & High Tech based on the complexity of the service.
About The Role
- Previous Applicants within the last 3 months need not apply.
- To accurately raise purchase orders against Homecare prescriptions and ensure they reach the Homecare Provider in a timely manner.
- To accurately process Homecare invoices and home deliveries through the pharmacy procurement management system.
- Monitor and maintain Pharmacy database in relation to Homecare services for MYTT patients.
- To provide cover and support for other procurement business procedures.
- To participate in the weekend and bank holiday rota as required.
Key Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in English
- Basic understanding of Homecare services and issues relating to Pharmacy
- Excellent Keyboard skills
- Must be able to work methodically and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
- Be able to work both independently or as part of a team as required.
