2 Posts Fixed-Term Appointments until 31/03/2028

The Pharmacy Technician - Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) will be a member of the pharmacy ePMA implementation team, utilising specialist pharmaceutical knowledge, IT and leadership skills to support healthcare staff across different specialities during a period of significant change in moving away from paper-based medicines management processes to digital solutions.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Be an integral member of the Pharmacy Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) team that will implement a new

ePMA system in the Health Board.

Support the ongoing configuration, implementation and optimisation of the ePMA system.

Deliver training and provide support to pharmacy and multi-disciplinary clinical staff during the implementation phase to ensure the safe

and effective use of the ePMA system.

Liaise directly with ePMA end users on queries such as system training requirements and troubleshooting.

Act as a role model for pharmacy staff on all ePMA related activities.
