Philanthropy Manager (Major donors)

And now? We’re hiring a Philanthropy Manager to help us take our major donor programme to the next level.

You’ll take ownership of our major donor pipeline — prospecting, cultivating, and stewarding individuals who can give five-figure+ gifts. You’ll have the full support of our Executive Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, and our growing Development Board.

👉 Essential role requirements include:

Right to work in the UK

Previous major donor fundraising experience

Exceptional communication skills particularly in understanding and translating complex information and turning it into compelling written proposals

Has a can-do attitude

Demonstrates a commercial mindset

Good interpersonal, influencing and relationship-management skills, at all levels

Willingness to attend networking events as required including some evenings

In-person working at our Old Street office on Mondays and Tuesdays

Desirable Skills:

Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential

Background or study in relevant fields of mental health sciences.
