The purpose of the Brand Marketing team is to generate increased brand love, awareness and consideration in customers, encouraging existing customers to shop more with us and new customers to consider Dunelm as a shopping destination. Our brand platform, The Home of Homes, is supported by owned channels, including ATL and organic social, as well as earned media and influencer engagement, underpinned by consistent creative and tone of voice. We work closely with the Commercial teams, Digital Trading and Digital Marketing to ensure the seamless promotion of our fantastic product offering and the work we do as a responsible retailer to support our local communities and the world in which we operate.
Do you have a knack for capturing the perfect shot? Are you passionate about photography and ready to make our homewares shine? We're looking for a talented Photographer to join our warm and welcoming team.
What you'll be doing:
- Shoot Editorial Lifestyle Photography: Capture stunning lifestyle images both on location and in the studio
- Product Photography: Shoot all products, cameos, and lifestyle images promptly, following the brief and art direction from our Art Direction Styling Manager
- Brand Aesthetic: Ensure every image showcases our products beautifully, keeping in mind the Dunelm brand aesthetic, seasonal variations, and customer profiles
- Image Editing: Edit and select shot sequences through Capture One, ensuring the best images are processed throughout the day
- Consistency: Make sure all imagery follows Dunelm's shoot guidelines and file size specifications, maintaining consistent colour and styling using Capture One
- Daily Targets: Meet all daily shoot targets to the highest standard
- Collaboration: Work closely with the image editing team to communicate any retouching requirements clearly
- Asset Management: Maintain digital photo assets, ensuring they are archived or easily accessible
- Shoot Preparation: Prepare the shoot set-up, check all equipment daily, test appropriate lighting for product types, and report any issues to the Studio Production Manager
- Equipment Maintenance: Be responsible for the upkeep of studio photographic equipment
- Health & Safety: Ensure all shoots comply with Health & Safety requirements, and all equipment is in good, safe, and efficient working condition
- Competitor Reviews: Complete competitor reviews to ensure the Dunelm studio remains best in class
What we'll look for in you:
- Previous experience in an interiors or lifestyle photographic role
- Ability to follow briefs and style guideline
- Deliver assets for multi-channel activity to short timescale
- Excellent communication skills and strong conceptual thinkin
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to details
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadline
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
