An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the East Band 5 Physiotherapy Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT).
This recruitment is for 1 x Permanent post, and for 1 x Fixed Term post (estimated 14 months Fixed-Term dependant upon how long employment checks take). The Fixed Term post will likely be extended to permanent during the term of the contract, if this is agreeable to the successful candidate, as soon as our next Permanent vacancy arises.
If you are an ambitious, proactive Physiotherapist looking to be part of a supportive Trust, using your skills to provide excellent community care, we’d love to hear from you.
Here at SCFT our aim is to maximise opportunities for the people living in our communities to be as independent as possible in ‘what matters to them’. Our Physiotherapy teams support people to live full and active lives within their family circles, social networks, and workplace.
This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapist and we welcome applications from new Physiotherapy graduates as well as those with previous Band 5 experience.
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles, and for established Band 5 Physiotherapists to extend their skills across a variety of clinical services.
Rotations Available On Our East Rotation Include
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Community Therapy Team
- Community Neuro Rehabilitation
- Community Respiratory
- Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
- Falls and Fracture Prevention
- Amputee Rehabilitation (Split Rotation with Community Therapy)
Please note that you will need to be able to drive with a full UK licence for home visits.
